Get To Know Me

Childcare has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. My grandmother, mother, and both aunts ran in-home childcares while I was growing up, so it’s no surprise that I followed in their footsteps. With a deep-rooted passion for early childhood education, I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in the field and committed myself to making a positive impact on young lives. Determined to be my own boss while continuing to serve the children I care so deeply about, I took a leap of faith and left my job. In September 2016, I opened Bri’s Brainiacs, an in-home childcare that was built on love, learning, and dedication. I take great pride in the work I do. Every day, I create and deliver engaging lessons and share them on social media so that Brainiac parents can stay connected and involved—even while at work. I strive to provide the same quality of care, attention, and educational opportunity that I would want for my own children. Being their first teacher is something I truly cherish. I love that it all starts with me — that I get to make a meaningful impact on these young minds. Watching them grow and eventually move on to ‘big school’ fills me with pride. It’s a privilege to be a part of their early journey, and it makes me proud to be a childcare provider.
